Public Health Data Analyst
Jason Heistand is a Data Analyst at Family Health Initiatives. In this role, Heistand oversees the data system support for Volunteers of Amerca, the Statewide Broadcast System, and the ALMA Program. Heistand’s work is committed to finding data-driven solutions and applying unique lenses to data challenges to overcome hurdles and make an impact.
Heistand received his Master of Public Health degree from New York University and has more than 5 years of epidemiological and data analytic experience. Heistand has a background in health information technology and has been part of multiple large scale health network and EHR projects. Heistand also has a diverse background in public health research and grant work with large population data sets.
Heistand maintains certifications in FEMA’s emergency management and health information technology.
