Family Health Initiatives President & CEO Joins Panel Discussion at 2026 Maternal Health & Perinatal Safety Symposium

Family Health Initiatives President & CEO Helen Hannigan joined other respected maternal and child health experts for a panel discussion at the Partnership for Maternal & Child Health of Northern New Jersey’s 2026 Maternal Health & Perinatal Safety Symposium hosted at Montclair State University.

The panel discussion centered around the the rollout of maternal health surveys and how the Perinatal Risk Assessment (PRA) influences delivery of care among clinical and community partnerships.

Established in 2018, the Maternal Health & Perinatal Safety Symposium is a professional education forum that aims to improve health equity and ensure safe respectful births for all. This innovative conference provides physicians, nurses, midwives, doulas, social workers and other healthcare providers with a review of current issues impacting maternal health and perinatal safety in New Jersey and nationally.
